The fixed part of the motor is called the stator, on which a pair of static main magnetic poles with DC excitation are installed; while the rotating part (rotor) is called the armature core, on which the armature winding is installed. After being electrified, the induction electromotive force is generated to act as the rotating magnetic field. After that, the electromagnetic torque is generated for energy conversion. It is distinguished by the shape and embedded mode of the stator winding.
